ABOUT US
The KG Strategic Knowledge Forum (KG SKF) is a not-for-profit initiative founded by Capt. Krishan Gopal, an alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA), and MJF Ln. Mrs. Nisha Sharma, a philanthropist with over 27 years of dedicated service in Lionism.
Inspired by the NDA motto “Service Before Self”, the forum is committed to fostering sustainable development, social innovation, and value-based leadership. Our mission is to empower communities by providing access to knowledge, essential resources, and collaborative opportunities that promote long-term growth and resilience.
Rooted in a deep sense of purpose and service, our team drives impact through strategic programs and partnerships aligned with the core values of sustainability, inclusivity, and community uplifting.
At its heart, KG SKF envisions a self-sustaining ecosystem in most ethical manner for uplifting of our planet, guided by the timeless wisdom of ancient Hindu philosophy, which reveres the Earth as one family — “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.

Logo Inspiration: Arjun – The Eternal Learner
The KG SKF logo is inspired by the legendary figure Arjun from the Indian epic Mahabharata, revered as a paragon of discipline, focus, and strategic learning. He embodies the learner’s spirit and the warrior’s resilience—making him the perfect symbol for the Forum’s mission.
In the logo, Arjun is depicted in a poised, ready stance with his bow drawn, symbolizing clarity of vision, preparedness
and dedication to a higher cause.
This depiction underlines that greatness is achievable through consistent and mindful practice of strategic learning.

To inspire a global generation of youth who are empowered with meaningful education, grounded in timeless values and equipped with the skills to build a sustainable and inclusive future. We envision a world where young minds are not only prepared to succeed—but to lead with purpose, empathy, and courage. Guided by the ancient Indian wisdom of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), we aim to create a knowledge ecosystem that transcends boundaries, bridges inequities and transforms communities through innovation, collaboration, and conscious leadership.
ROAD AHEAD
We’re on a mission to power up rural India—starting with 100 electric vehicles driven through the Atmanirbhar Yuva EV Mobility (AYEM) program, transforming local transport and livelihoods. Alongside this, we’re unlocking opportunities for 500 youth every year through world-class, NSDC-certified training in defense preparation, EV tech, maritime skills, and drone operations. We aim to launch a certified Drone Training Academy (RPTO), designed to elevate industries like agriculture, inspections, and logistics with precision and innovation. To deepen impact across vital sectors, we aim to operationalize the Center of Maritime Excellence International (CMEI), a dedicated diving and seafaring school, shaping skilled professionals for India’s growing blue economy.

Popularly known as Capt. KG, Lt Cdr. Krishan Gopal (Retd.) navigates multiple leadership roles— maritime expert, mentor and a visionary changemaker. As a Master Mariner, professional Diver, Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO), and Hydrographic Survey Specialist he brings an unmatched insight into maritime and grassroots development domains.
A social entrepreneur at heart Capt. KG founded KG Strategic Knowledge Forum (KG SKF) to build a more equitable society by creating and nurturing micro-entrepreneurs. He champions ethical, skill-based development through game-changing initiatives like Project Sarthi (empowering drivers with digital tools and opportunities to grow as independent operators ) and Project AYEM (training tribal youth in EV driving and life skills).His mission remains clear: to nurture a generation of ethical, capable, and self-led change makers.
MJF LN. MRS NISHA SHARMA

MJF LN. Mrs. Nisha Sharma—social entrepreneur, philanthropist and force for inclusive change— She alongside her husband Capt. Krishan Gopal, co-founded the KG Strategic Knowledge Forum to drive empowerment through knowledge and service. As founder of Nisha’s Horizon, Beauty & Spa, she’s a trailblazer in professional excellence and a mentor to young women from diverse backgrounds.
With over 26 years of impact, she played a key role in uplifting Adivasi youth, underprivileged children and women through Lions Clubs International and KG SKF transformative initiatives like Project AYEM (EV training and girl child empowerment) and Project PAWSITIVITY (humane care for strays emphasizing in-situ sterilization and care for stray dogs. Driven by compassion, she turns vision into action—uplifting communities and setting new benchmarks for sustainable change.
